Then Install Diagnostic Software: IDS 127 Full FDRS 33.5.3 FDRS Vehicle List. well i heard a lot of issue with asus and creative sound cards (sadly literally) but that's new to me. ![]() That is why I mentioned that if there could be something that worked as a separate (virtual) device in Windows' "Sound" control panel device list that does nothing but take your normal Windows OS audio paths (waveout, directsound, WASAPI, etc.) and bridge them over to ASIO, it would actually be quite awesome.ĭo you have link to this. MIDI In: Use standard 5-pin MIDI cables to connect these inputs to the MIDI. But for 22, this looks like a fantastic Maschine, mixer, or MPC stand in. We highly recommend using your MPC Xs sound card (Akai Pro MPC X ASIO). The easiest work-around for these sound cards is to use ASIO, but that is supported by few consumer software. Record Stand IkeaAlso See for KALLAX: Assembly instruction manual (10 pages). However, users of Creative and Asus sound cards (such as myself) have a major reason to use ASIO - because the drivers for those sound cards completely bypass the exclusive functionality of WASAPI, resulting in the audio being resampled to whatever sampling rate the OS and/or the sound card's driver control panel is set to no matter what (this can be particularly annoying since the built-in resampling for some of these sound card drivers can actually be pretty poor) - this is particularly obvious by playing audio with a very weird sampling rate (like 54321Hz) in something like foobar2000 with the output set to WASAPI exclusive - normally foobar2000 would throw up an error saying "Unsupported stream format: 54321 Hz", but Creative and Asus sound cards will instead play the audio via driver-level resampling. Outside of professional users and maybe super latency-sensitive gamers that use 120+Hz CRTs, WASAPI exclusive and ASIO largely have the same result other than ASIO can't utilize Windows' built-in OS-level volume control. ![]()
